I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Art Education Emphasis from Wichita State University. 

Education Philosophy

I believe art making is a learned skill that can be acquired through observational study, and hours of practice. Although natural ability is helpful, anyone with the right attitude can learn how to create his or her own work of art.  I hope to help students express their ideas and individuality, while taking away valuable skills to use in the future.

Why I love teaching in a Catholic School

I love teaching in a Catholic School and talking about our faith and bringing that into teaching. I believe God gives us so many gifts in which we can excel and maybe that could be art.

Outside interests and passions 

Ms. Hittner also enjoys spending quality time with her son, watching Royals games, being at the pool, playing coed softball or sand volleyball, attending sporting events and being with friends.
