The 33rd annual St. Joseph Grade school auction will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
We are very thankful for our St. Joseph community and all the benefits it provides for our children.
ith the support from our families, this Catholic community provides a faith based education which gives our children the tools to work for a better future for themselves as well as others.
The annual auction is the largest fundraiser to support our school. All proceeds directly benefit the students by:
The 2019 annual auction was a night to remember, with over 400 people in attendance, delicious food, great company, dancing and much more. With the help of generous sponsors, numerous in-kind donors and supporters, we raised over $210,000 for the St. Joseph School.
The auction has more and more attendees each year, but we depend on the added support of our friends in the business community who supply us with exciting auction items and generous sponsorship. By supporting the auction, you are making a huge difference in the lives of our children.
The auction is a great opportunity to come together for fun and fellowship in support of the St. Joseph Grade School. We hope you will join us and make November 7th a great night for our St. Joseph community.
Each year families may donate $25 to memorialize their loved ones in our school’s Communion of Saints Book. These family members and friends are also named during the annual Memorial Mass on the first Friday in May. Throughout the school year we also pray daily, by name, for those enrolled in our Communion of Saints.
Please e-mail us at school@stjoeshawnee.org or call us at 913-631-7730 for more information on this opportunity.
The Development Fund is responsible for organizing fundraising activities to help offset the cost of school operations and keep tuition rates as low as possible. While there is no longer a specific development fund obligation, families are expected to participate in fundraisers throughout the year. If families prefer not to participate, they can "buy out" of this responsibility by paying $350.00 per family.
The Development and Accounting Departments are located in the Parish Services Center (PSC) on the second floor, Room 201.
Their telephone number is 631-0800 and the office hours are Monday thru Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
